Hey there, fellow UGC creators! If you’re like me, you're always on the lookout for the best platforms to help you grow your business, get more retainer clients, do less admin, and earn more. Finding the right platform can make all the difference, and that's why I've put together this comprehensive guide to the top UGC platforms in various countries. Let’s dive in and see which platforms can help you take your UGC game to the next level!

Australia

1. Creator Flow

Creator Flow is Australia’s first UGC platform. It’s also the most established in Australia and they provide probably they seem to offer the most generous creator payouts in Australia. The average payout is around ~$200AUD+ which is pretty decent in the UGC platform world. Their platform is also really user-friendly with a straightforward interface making it a breeze to navigate. Currently the platform is only available to creators in Australia & New Zealand but rumour has it they have plans to expand into other markets in the future.

(Full disclosure: The Kite.Site team founded Creator Flow and has since exited the business.)

Pros: Highest payouts for creators

Cons: Fixed payouts

2. Use Clip

Useclip is another choice for UGC creators in Australia. It’s appears easy to use, however, it doesn’t seem to be as widely used in Australia as they’re relatively new to the scene in this market. For creators though that want to make a living creating, they’re not the best choice as their payments are extremely low and range from $20-$100AUD.

Pros: Easy to use interface

Cons: Extremely low fixed payouts

3. UGC Content Creators Australia

UGC Content Creators Australia is run by Shaneika, an Aussie UGC creator who is passionate about UGC and helping local small brands grow with content. It probably doesn’t have the same choice of creators, but being able to speak directly to a seasoned UGC creator is a plus!

Pros: Wide creator network

Cons: Less variety of creators

1. Use Twirl

Usetwirl is a great platform for beginners in the UK. It’s user-friendly and offers plenty of opportunities to connect with brands. They pay between $110-$300+ USD per project at the time of writing this.

Pros: Decent creator payouts

Cons: Fixed payouts

2. Use Clip

Just like in Australia, Use Clip is another option in the UK. It’s easy to navigate and great for beginners, but it does have very low creator payouts so it’s probably not the best option.

Pros: Easy to use interface

Cons: Extremely low fixed payouts

United States

1. Billo

Billo tops the list in the USA as the biggest UGC platform. Its name is quickly becoming a verb in the direct-to-consumer ecommerce world, thanks to its extremely cheap UGC video deals. This is great for brands but not so good for creators, as the payouts are extremely low. But, if you're just starting out and want to quickly gain some UGC experience, Billo is a decent place to start.

Pros: High-quality UGC

Cons: High cost

2. Trend.io

Trend.io is one of the newer UGC platforms being spun out of Soona, a revolutionary product photography platform for e-commerce businesses. And the platform is one of the few that is well suited to all levels of UGC creators as each creator level is paid an appropriate payout.

Pros: Great all UGC creator levels with variable pricing.

Cons: Relatively new.

3. Cohley

Cohley is another option for UGC creators looking for a suitable platform in the US. They’re not only a UGC platform, but also welcome photographers and videographers making it a little less specific. It seems that it isn’t the most active and fruitful platform for UGC creators specifically, but it may still be worth applying for!

Pros: Wide range of services

Cons: Less active platform

Youdji is one of the few UGC platforms we’ve come across that allows you as a creator to set your own rates and packages. It’s a complete game changer. It seems to have gained some decent traction.

Pros: Set your own pricing

Cons: High fees

2. Moggo

Moggo is a great platform for UGC creators in France, although one feature that doesn’t seem great is that payments aren’t paid directly into your account and you must withdraw your payments from your ‘Moggo wallet’.

Cons: Low creator payouts

Germany

1. GetNano

GetNano boasts a large creator base of 20,000, making it easier to find the right collaborators. The costs are a bit higher, but the potential to connect with quality brands makes it worth considering.

Pros: Large creator base

Cons: Higher costs

2. UGC Fabrik

UGC Fabrik offers tools that simplify collaboration, which is great if you’re managing multiple projects. However, its reach is somewhat limited, so it might not be the best for global expansion.

Pros: Easy collaboration tools

Cons: User Interface

3. Speekly

Speekly is another German UGC platform that has gained some decent traction although their creator payouts are extremely low. At the time of writing this article they’re paying out creators between €30 and €48 per video. For beginners just getting started, it’s not a bad place to start.

Pros: Decent traction

Cons: Very low creator payouts

Conclusion

These UGC platforms are excellent for beginner creators, offering an easy way to secure deals without the need for outreach. However, they can become limiting due to fixed creator payouts and platform fees that cut into your earnings. If you have an engaged social media audience and brands are contacting you directly, Kite.site is the best option.

With Kite.site, you set your own rates, there’s no commission taken, and it provides tools to help you earn more from brands, such as retainer package upsells and automatic usage rights payments. It also saves you time on administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on income-generating activities. It's a win-win.
